A project for MIDeC Museum - 2019
The Tea Porcelain Set was been an ideal subject to investigate some of my favourite themes, first of all the transience of every object and their fragility.
The rite of tea is itself marked by the continuous transformations of that small amount of water that heats up, takes on qualities, changes color from minute to minute, acquires a flavor and perfumes. It burns out.
This family of ethereal porcelain borns from this simple sensorial observation.
Like the water that ideally contains, the set is changeing state, become thinner and fraying, dematerializing as vapor.
Hot water for tea.
